Carlos A. Acosta Nassar, 

Is a physicist, graduated from the University of Costa Rica, with a Master of Science degree in Vibration and Noise Studies obtained at the University of Southampton, England. A pioneer in the analysis of mechanical vibrations in industrial machinery, dynamic balancing of rotating machinery, implementing predictive maintenance programs. Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Costa Rica where he teaches the courses on Thermodynamics, Industrial Maintenance and Mechanical Vibrations Theory. Founding partner and CEO of the company Balances Dinámicos de Costa Rica SRL in operation since 1984 and which has extended its predictive maintenance services and manufacturing machinery to various countries in Central America and Panama. Conceived and designed the wind turbine SkyTwister and for this, He won the 2011 Entrepreneurship Award.
